MANUAL ADHESION RELEASe®
Manual Adhesion Release® is a specific soft tissue treatment that utilizes the provider's hands to reduce adhesion in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves.
MAR® works like this
1. Use the Integrative Diagnosis® system to identify the exact location of the adhesion.
2. Shorten structure.
3. Place contact slightly distal against adhesion.
4. Set contact depth.
5. Set contact tension.
6. Lengthen structure while maintaining depth and increasing tension.
The goal of MAR® is to generate tension directly on the adhesion to reduce and eliminate it. The concept behind Manual Adhesion Release® is simple. However, the application requires expert skill.
INSTRUMENT ADHESION RELEASE®
Instrument Adhesion Release® is a soft tissue treatment that utilizes a specially designed instrument to reduce adhesion in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves.
IAR® works like this
1. Use the Integrative Diagnosis® system to identify the exact location of the adhesion.
2. Set structure tension to allow access to adhesion.
3. Select instrument contact.
4. Set instrument depth.
5. Set instrument angle.
6. Move the instrument over the adhesion.
This generates tension directly on the adhesion to reduce and eliminate it. Instrument Adhesion Release® (IAR®) is not generic soft tissue “mobilization” but rather a highly targeted instrument and training combination that improves diagnosis, and allows for faster more effective treatment with less work.
