What is the Webster Technique?

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and gentle adjusting technique that helps to correct pelvic misalignment and improve balance to the pelvic muscles and ligaments. This removes possible torsion from the uterus, also known as intrauterine constraint, allowing the baby to get into the best possible position for birth.

What is Active Release Techniques ® Soft Tissue Treatment?

ART ® Soft Tissue Treatment is a patented movement based hands-on soft tissue technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. These soft tissue structures are evaluated for its texture, tightness and movement, and are treated by combining precise directed tension with specific patient movements. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be treated and effectively resolved with this technique.

What is Graston Technique ®?

The Graston Technique is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables the clinician to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. This technique utilizes stainless steel instruments that are uniquely shaped to treat different areas of the body in order to effectively detect and treat these adhesions that can affect normal mobility and movement, and that can cause chronic inflammation. Graston Technique is an interdisciplinary treatment that is used by more than 6000 clinicians, including chiropractors, occupational and physical therapists.

What is the McKenzie Method ®?

Also known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, the McKenzie Method is a philosophy of active patient involvement and education for back, neck and extremity problems. The McKenzie Method utilizes a comprehensive step-by-step mechanical evaluation to assess the effect of repetitive movements and/or sustained positions on the patient’s symptoms. A series of individualized exercises are then prescribed aimed not at only decreasing the pain, but also at long term prevention of recurrence.
