Dr. Keith M. Puri

A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Keith Puri attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Movement Science with concentrations in sports medicine, health fitness and physical education from Westfield State University. He later graduated magna cum laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

Prior to teaming up with Dr. Kum to open ChiroCare, Dr. Puri served as the Associate Director for the Chiropractic Department for the largest provider of integrative healthcare services in the U.S and was fortunate to serve on the medical staff as a chiropractor for the 2007 CONCACAF- Gold Cup and for the 2007 and 2008 Bay State Summer Games. He has worked with a number of collegiate and high school athletes and has enjoyed strong referral relationships with numerous physical therapists and athletic trainers. Along with Dr. Kum, Dr. Puri has served as the official Chiropractors at the New England Masters Swim Meet. Dr. Puri was recently awarded the Cambridge “Who’s Who” among executives and professionals in Chiropractic for his achievements in the chiropractic profession.

As a chiropractor, Dr. Puri’s clinical expertise resides in the treatment of sports injuries, cumulative stress disorders and injuries resulting from motor vehicle and work accidents. His strong interest in sport and soft tissue injuries has lead him to pursue additional certifications in both the Graston Technique® and ART ® Soft Tissue Treatment, two unique patented forms of soft tissue treatments. Most recently, Dr. Puri has also been trained by the McKenzie Institute in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment® and has frequently adapted this approach with his chiropractic treatments to evaluate and treat spinal conditions affecting the neck and back.

Dr. Puri brings to ChiroCare an evidence-based approach to patient care that includes a variety of soft tissue procedures, active rehabilitation protocols and manipulative techniques. He has been instrumental in teaching the basic cornerstone philosophy of ChiroCare to its practitioners and the wider community and has become well-accepted in the medical field. Most importantly, Dr. Puri believes in merging his unique treatment approach with the individual needs of his patients to help maximize their ability to heal.
